Come si progetta una collezione di calzature

La progettazione di una collezione di calzature, inizia con la ricerca delle tendenze (fondamentale visitare le fiere di settore e aggiornarsi), dei materiali da usare e naturalmente dei colori. Prima di creare una collezione si deve aver approfondito il target di riferimento e la manifattura del cliente finale, perché alcune lavorazioni non sono consone a tutti i tipi di produzione e di prodotto. Dopo aver ricercato e composto dei collages di immagini che fungono da base su cui elaborare creativamente le proposte, si passa alla fase progettuale: lo stilista si interroga sulle strutture da creare, sui tacchi e sulle suole. Ogni interrogativo sarà sviluppato ed elaborato sotto forma di schizzi. Dall'individuazione delle strutture, si passa alla fase dello sviluppo creativo delle tomaie.
